Zinc
Zinc is another of my earlier hexes. Someone on Discord was trying to create tiger stripes for another hex and it got me thinking about paintball stripes and different techniques for making them. I starting experimenting with a few different ideas and came up with Zinc's pattern by placing black paintballs down in clumps and then using strips of white paintballs to divide them up into 'stripes'. This was a lot quicker and easier than trying to place individual stripes and a technique I've used several times since.
Of course once I'd given him his stripes, I also needed to adjust the basic oshie model into something that made sense! A few addballs and extension adjustments later, the Oshie Quagga was complete. As well as learning about paintball stripes, this was the first time I had really messed with extensions on an oshie hex!
